I see this as being a vertical cityscape. In some cities, people are piled over top of one another along with all of their possessions. I sometimes sit in a cafe and like to watch the people coming out of their incredibly tall buildings and pile into their cars to seemingly drive in circles until they return to their homes that scrape the sky.
