I’ve always had a deep love for the landscapes of Italy, both the mountainous regions that feel rugged and timeless, and the flat, open fields like the one in this painting. There’s a unique magic in how these contrasting scenes tell different stories but share the same warmth and beauty. The mountains offer a sense of grandeur and adventure, while the flat fields invite calm and reflection. Together, they’ve inspired so much of my work and continue to remind me why Italy feels like a second home, full of endless surprises and moments worth capturing on canvas.
