These are not the butterflies you see in a biology textbook but an artistic interpretation of my own. Each butterfly I paint is a unique being, often inspired by the remarkable women I know in my life. Yafa is always a calming presence. Her sense of tranquility reminds me of sitting next to a quiet pond and watching the water ripple from a light breeze. She is peaceful and relaxed, even her voice is as soft as a whisper.
