Butterflies evolved over the last 100 million years to be more aerodynamic, to camouflage into their surroundings, or to stand out and surprise with their eye-catching colors. Nature has created an insect of perfection with butterflies, but I take my own approach with my butterflies. These are not the butterflies you see in a biology textbook. These are an invention of my own. I never copy them exactly as they are in nature but formulate my own fluttering wonders.
