Every painting starts with mixing colors. This is where I find my inspiration. I blend, splatter, and sweep the brushes across the canvas until my thoughts catch up with images of birds, butterflies, or cyclists. The colors, in their entirety, are inspirational. They excitedly convey activity through their chaotic movements. I love returning to the basics of the simplicity of color with the complexity of emotion.
