Just as a butterfly spreads its wings for the world to see its wondrous hues, the art I create is painted with the intention for the world to feel joy and love. These colorful critters gracefully float through the air uplifting the spirits of those around them. When we light the Chanukiah, we are reminded that darkness is only temporary. The light of the candles or the beauty of the butterfly helps guide us back to these feelings of joy and love.
