I have painted thousands of butterflies over my life. Sometimes they are like scribbles in the margins of notebooks, and other times they are intentional, painted to reflect an emotion or a specific person. But for each viewer, they take on a new meaning. They inspire people or remind them of loved ones who passed. Every person I meet has a story about what a butterfly means to them. The beauty of these stories further progresses my personal butterfly journey. It encourages me to add butterflies to anything and everything I create.
