As a child, I always loved exploring the sandy dunes and treeless hills not far from where I lived. One thing I found fascinating was the lack of colors. Spending time in the desert with its spectacular yellows, oranges, and reds, and then in the forests with its incredible array of cold and warm hues inspired me to create in two very different styles. As I progressed through my artistic journey, I found myself moving more toward an extraordinary array of shades, so much so that I love to revisit old works and bring my new paints to them.
