Bouquet Tel Aviv is a reminder of my childhood. Unlike the other bouquets of bigger, brighter store-bought flowers from a nursery, this bouquet is made up of wildflowers hand-picked from the fields. When I was a child growing up in Israel, most people did not have the money to purchase such beautiful bouquets of international flowers, so they went into the countryside to find decorations for their homes for Shabbat. Today there are laws forbidding people from doing this to protect the natural environment, but this wildflower bouquet was one of my core memories from my youth.
