One night, I was sitting outside in complete darkness except for one naked bulb hanging above me for light. This one bulb in the middle of the dark and silent night attracted many bugs and butterflies. This ball of light created all of this tension between the two parts in the darkness, and the dark and still night contrasted the movement of the multicolored butterflies. The attraction of the butterflies to the light captivated me and inspired this colorful work.
