My art is a way to reflect my thoughts about life. I lived most of my life in urban environments in cities around the world, so often I choose to portray the people that fill the city’s avenues and promenades. Every city I paint has unique characteristics that are reflected in the people. Tel Aviv, for example, is bright and fun. It has the most dogs per capita of any city in the world. The people always seem to be on their way to or from the beach, jogging or strolling. Nobody is rushing anywhere, but they certainly love to move.
