I have always had an incredible passion for cycling. I started as a child cycling for pleasure, but over time this passion grew as I began to watch Lance Armstrong race across my screen. I recall when his career took off, his determination and focus guided me to apply the same resolve to my artistic career. For many years I have been painting Armstrong and other cyclists in many forms. With Armstrong, however, I want to focus on the element of speed. He moves so swiftly that all the details seem to dissolve into the space behind him.
