Pond New 3

Here, time stands still and the world washes away. From the bottom of the pond, a lotus pushes its way through the mud and emerges to the surface of the still water. They look like jewels as they unfurl to reveal their pink and white petals contrasting the blues and greens of the pond. Even though in nature the flower may be gone tomorrow, here the lotus will remain just as vibrant as the day you first laid eyes on it.
