Koi Pond 6

This painting captures a koi fish gliding through a city pond, with the reflection of a tall tower shimmering on the surface. It’s not my usual quiet studio pond scene, but this one caught my eye while walking through the city. I loved the contrast: the stillness of the red fish against the bright blue water, and the white tower. That moment felt like a little pocket of calm in the middle of the bustle, and I wanted to hold onto it through paint.
