I have a series of the shape of infinity. I feel that this shape is reflective of many aspects of nature and life. ∞ is a mathematical symbol representing the concept of infinity, boundlessness, or eternity. I felt when I first started drawing this symbol that I could investigate the shape further as it applies to my urban life. I usually paint cyclists moving along for the joy of it, but here I created those who bike for sport and rivalry. The ones who clump together not for the joy of socializing but for the satisfaction of competition. These are the bikers who move on a track circling around and around seemingly forever.
