From an early age, I had a passion for cycling, for sports, for entertainment, and for pleasure. I remember watching Lance Armstrong at the start of his career and the speed at which it took off. I was so inspired by his determination and focus winning him seven consecutive Tours de France. There are so many things to be said about his legacy, but for me, I will always remember his passion and his perseverance. I knew while watching him on TV that even if I applied a portion of his determination to my artistic career I would be able to succeed. I still keep his image in my head today. Whenever I have to face a challenge I think “What would Armstrong do?” and I know the answer. He would persevere.
