I moved to Paris in the mid-sixties to study art at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Of every beautiful memory I have from museums to people, one of the most beautiful reflections of my time there was the early mornings. Every day I would wake up and I would spend my time standing by the window. I would lean against the frame greeting the early morning birds, sipping my coffee, and smelling the sweet fragrance of the flowers I kept there. This was my morning ritual routine. This window here transports me to those pleasant days.
