All my art focuses on joy, pleasure, freedom, and leisure. I want the viewer and the subject to experience a lifestyle of relaxation and pleasure. Like my bicycles, I wanted to show a group of people interacting with one another while enjoying their sport. To me, the uniqueness of this piece lies in the contrast of the colors and patterns to the white fields of snow. This is what initially drew my eye to the subject matter, watching the smiling skiers in their bright-colored suits smiling at one another against the backdrop of a winter wonderland.
