Butterflies and flowers are two of my biggest inspirations that I consistently return to. Their vibrant colors and dream-like qualities draw in any viewer. They oppose the stark gray linear buildings that we see in the city. Butterflies belong to nature, as do flowers, and as do we. When I watch them in nature, I see how butterflies and flowers live together and help one another. The butterflies rely on the flowers for food, and the flowers depend on the butterflies to spread their pollen to reproduce. I see this beautiful relationship as more than existence; by helping each other, they find eternal life.
