I grew up near the desert and learned stories of my people traveling through Sinai, searching for the land where I now live. As a child, I always loved exploring the nature around me for its trees and greenery, but less than an hour's drive from where I grew up was the desert landscape. Whenever I would visit these sandy dunes and treeless hills, I would feel like I was traveling back in time. I was visiting a time of adventure and resilience. I see this as the timeless beauty of the desert.
