Butterflies, like flowers, belong to nature. As opposed to urban life, I dream of nature and bringing it into my home in any way possible. I fill vases with flowers, but I cannot capture a butterfly and impose this living being in my city home, so instead I paint them. I paint these butterflies with every color I could imagine. I paint them to bring the peace and charm of nature into our homes so that we can all fill our lives with the joys of the outdoor world.
