Wood Vases
Budapest
I remember visiting Budapest for the first time and I knew that I would be inspired by the city, its history, and of course its architecture, but I was completely in shock at the abundance of flowers! Everywhere I went there were stunning cherry blossoms. I spent hours walking along the Danube taking photos and envisioning how I could capture their beauty for an eternity. I thought about picking the branches to take back to my hotel room and keep in a vase, but that wouldn't be enough. I just needed to create a way to capture their unending beauty in an unending way, and so after my holiday, I got started immediately drawing and painting all of these tiny blossoms in honor of Budapest.
