Flowers are the artworks of nature, and we need art to enrich our lives. I envision and combine every spectacular combination of flowers I have ever seen in my art. I sometimes paint them with precisely detailed seeds in the center. Other times, I take inspiration from artists who preceded me, like Piet Mondrian and simplify them to their most basic, pixelated expressions. No matter the style I paint, they bring the same energy. Flowers enhance our experience and belong everywhere in our lives.
