Paper Cut Wall Sculpture
Bouquet-New York
Flowers are the most spectacular color palette in nature. Even throughout history, flowers were the first items used to create pigments for artists. They are the source of the colorful world. It made sense to me that each flower would be transformed into a palette of a different hue. Looking back at the time I spent living in New York, studying art in the capital of art, I was always enamored by the walks I would take through Central Park and the flowers I would see there. I envisioned that one day I would recreate these flowers as I saw them, as individual palettes of color. So, this bouquet of color is my homage to the city I love so much: New York.
