5th Avenue D

This piece started many years ago when I created 5th Avenue A, which reflected my experience in the densely overcrowded city. Since then, my fascination with cities, crowds, and the individuals that make them up hasn’t faltered. Instead, it has grown and developed. The characters have become more refined from the first work, titled 5th Avenue A, to the twenty that have followed. They started as generic, cartoon-like figures, but by the time I got to 5th Avenue D, I began to add more details and personalities to these characters. You can even imagine where these people might be headed based on their accessories.
